• Grades I – II

    We follow the Mother-Teacher concept for Grades I-II. One teacher is responsible for the main Academic subjects while the Non-Academic section is handled by Subject Experts.
    We assess a child’s growth in two areas – Scholastic and Co-Scholastic. Students are assessed through an Eight-Cycles Test Evaluation pattern in a year for: English, Maths, Hindi, EVS, Computers, Art & Craft, Sports, General Knowledge, Entrepreneurship Lab, English Lab, and Maths Lab.
  • Grades III – VIII

    Scholastic Area:
    Formal Assessment is conducted for subjects: English, Maths, EVS/SS, Science, Hindi, Computer, and Third Language (French or Gujarati).
    • There are Two Terms – Term I and Term II.
    • The total weightage assigned to Internal Assessment is 20% (Periodic Test 10% + Notebook 5% + Enrichment Activity 5%).
    • Periodic Test (PT) is a 30-marks written exam.
    • The total weightage assigned to the Annual Examination is 80% (80-marks written exam).
    • Total Term End Exam is 20% Internal + 80% written exams.
    • Students are graded based on an 8-point grading system.
    • Assessment Plan:
      • Term I:
        • Periodic Test I (10% weightage) – July.
        • Regular observation of notebook maintenance (5% weightage).
        • Enrichment Activities – (5% weightage).
        • Half-Yearly Exam (80% weightage) – September.
      • Term II:
        • Periodic Test II (10% weightage) – December.
        • Regular observation of notebook maintenance (5% weightage).
        • Enrichment Activities (5% weightage).
        • Yearly Exam (80% weightage) – March.
    Co-Scholastic Area:
    Students are also graded on a 3-point grading scale based on attendance, sincerity, behaviour & values, tidiness, respectfulness for rules & regulations, attitude towards society, nations of the world, and others.
    Discipline:
    Students are also graded on a 3-point grading system for Work Education/Pre-Vocational Education, Art Education (Visual & Performing Arts), Health, and Physical Education.
  • Grades IX – X

    Scholastic Area:
    Formal Assessment is conducted for subjects: English, Maths, EVS/SS, Science, Hindi, and Computer.
    • There are three Periodic Tests and one Annual Exam.
    • The total weightage assigned to Internal Assessment is 20%.
    • The total weightage assigned to Annual Examination is 80%.
    • Students are graded based on an 8-point grading system.
    • Internal Assessment – Periodic Test 10% + Notebook 5% + Enrichment Activity 5%.
    • Internal Assessment Plan:
      • Periodic Test I – July.
      • Periodic Test II – September.
      • Periodic Test III – December.
      • Regular observation of notebook maintenance.
      • Three Enrichment Activities (group or individual activities like role play, project work, assignment work, field trip, Model Making, Oral, Elocution, Debate, etc.) for each subject.
    Co-Scholastic Area:
    Students are also graded on a 3-point grading scale based on attendance, sincerity, behaviour & values, tidiness, respectfulness for rules & regulations, attitude towards society, nations, and others.
    Discipline:
    Students are also graded on a 3-point grading system for Work Education/Pre-Vocational Education, Art Education (Visual & Performing Arts), Health, and Physical Education.
  • Note to Parents

    Confirmed dates with a detailed examination schedule and syllabus for periodic tests and annual examinations will be shared with parents through a circular well in advance.
    No retest will be provided for the child if he/she is absent during any periodic tests and/or annual examinations.
